It’s mid-way through November, so if you haven’t gotten out to sample the incredibly delicious deals at Dine Around Seattle, you’d better get to it!
Secret Diner reviews are pouring in, giving intrepid and prudent diners alike the 411 on what to expect at Dine Around’s 26 participating restaurants.
Here’s a sampling of what one Secret Diner experienced at Monsoon:
“The menu selection is HUGE! Eleven starters, 16 mains and five desserts make up the Dine Around menu.”
“We started off with a salad of crunchy shredded green papaya tossed with caramelized chunks of pineapple and dressed with a minty chili-spiked vinaigrette and roasted chopped peanuts. The salad was topped with a trio of perfectly grilled prawns, which achieved that delicate balance of being fully cooked while still moist and flavorful. The hit of the meal was the bo la lot (prounounced bo lah low), slices of Carlton Farms flank steak wrapped in la lot leaves (also known as pepper leaves, my research tells me) and grilled. Four bundles were served skewered with a side of delicious pickled carrots and daikon and a small dish of savory dipping sauce that was so good I want to bathe in it.”
