Eric and Sophie Banh of Monsoon Restaurants are pleased to announce a special luncheon with cookbook author and teacher, Andrea Nguyen, in celebration of her newest cookbook, “Asian Dumplings: Mastering Gyoza, Spring Rolls, Samosas and More,” (2008 Random House, $30). The ticket price of $30 (plus tax & gratuity) includes a multi-course Lunar New Year-inspired meal highlighting recipes from the book alongside premium tea pairings.

Andrea will provide a lesson on dumplings during the meal, full of informative tips and tricks on filling and shaping perfectly formed dumplings from all corners of Asian. Copies of “Asian Dumplings” will be available for sale at the event for $20 (plus tax, a friends and family discount of 40% off the cover price).
