Call in the troupes. Wednesday, July 14 marks the 121st anniversary of the storming of Bastille and the fall of the French monarchy. Liberte, egalite, fraternite! Celebrate Bastille Day at—where else?—Ballard’s Bastille Café & Bar.
To mark the occasion, Bastille is offering a lively evening of stellar food, drink, music, and entertainment you don’t want to miss.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., chef Shannon Galusha and chef de cuisine Jason Stoneburner will offer an outdoor charcuterie and oyster station, as well as beer and wine. Tickets will be available to purchase $3 beer, $5 wine, and $5 plates of charcuterie or oysters. (During Bastille Day festivities, Bastille’s regular menu will be available as well.)
But it’s not just about the food! A dynamic lineup of music and entertainment will take the party well into the night. From 6-9 p.m., local gypsy jazz band Djangomatics will play on the outdoor terrace, followed by Rouge in the back bar from 9:30 p.m.-midnight.
The evening will commence with a spicy burlesque troupe performance at midnight.
Bastille Day only comes around once a year, so don’t miss this delicious celebration at Bastille Café & Bar.
