Fresh, Seasonal Dining Dazzles at Kenwood Inn and Spa

Kenwood Inn and Spa’s award-winning, 29-room resort, which boasts stunning Mediterranean-style architecture, is more than just a place to hang the hat.

The intimate guest-only restaurant, led by chef Andrea Di Loreto, offers impeccable Northern Italian-inspired cuisine utilizing fruit harvested from the Inn’s own Clementine, avocado, kumquat, persimmon, apple, and pomegranate trees, as well as ingredients from top local farmers, ranchers, artisan cheese makers, and fisherman.

Chef Di Loreto’s dedication to high-quality, seasonal ingredients is apparent after just one glance at the mouthwatering menu—let alone one bite. Dinner options like Rombo in Padella, pan-seared halibut with saffron-braised fennel and micro licorice, and Petto di Pollo, Petaluma chicken breast with Thumbelina carrots, pearl onion, and fingerling potatoes, do not disappoint.

Naturally, the restaurant’s notable wine list is stellar, highlighting stand out local wines from around the Valley. So sip, savor, and enjoy the Kenwood Inn and Spa.

Kenwood Inn and Spa in Travel+Leisure’s July Sonoma Story

The July issue of Travel+Leisure magazine dedicated nine magnificent pages to telling readers what most already know: that is, Sonoma is stunning, amazing, and so very visit-worthy. But the article, written by Luke Barr, also did more than that.

Rather than focusing on the wineries, grapes, breathtaking natural beauty, Barr paints a picture of laid-back, unpretentious, connected-with-the-earth, this-is-how-life-was-meant-to-be-lived Sonoma. A place where once-corporate types now live out their dream making organic goat cheese.

If you weren’t already itching to visit, you will be now.

Check out the guide to Sonoma County on page 130 for information on where to stay (at the Kenwood Inn and Spa, of course!), eat, and play.
