Loft Opening at Pacific Place

Pine Street Group L.L.C. is pleased to announce that LOFT will open a downtown Seattle store at the northwest corner of Fifth Avenue and Pike Street in the 1505 Fifth Avenue Building just in time for the holidays. The store is a new prototype for LOFT and will be the first street-level location for the new prototype in the United States. LOFT will occupy 6,235 square feet at both street and metro levels in the space that formerly housed the Adidas store.

With 510 stores nationwide, LOFT collections are designed for value-conscious women with a more relaxed lifestyle both at work and at home. Moderately priced, the casual chic woman’s wear brand offers the latest styles and trends for women and petites, maternity, shoes, handbags and more. LOFT collections are planned with versatile styles that coordinate not only from head-to-toe, but also from season-to-season both for career and casual occasions.

The Ann Taylor brand dates back to 1954, when founder Robert Liebeskind, the son of a dressmaker, opened his first shop. By 1983, Ann Taylor had grown from a regional, primarily East Coast brand, to a national brand with 47 stores across the United States. Today, the Ann Taylor brand is represented by two brands with four channels of distribution: Ann Taylor Stores, LOFT, Ann Taylor Factory and LOFT Outlet.

Ann Taylor currently has a boutique in the Pacific Place shopping center at Sixth and Pine.
